In 1988, Burchell Fine Woodworking began creating handmade custom kitchens and furniture for homes in the local area. Steve O’Brien joined the team in 1993 and from that emerged Burchell-O’Brien Custom Kitchens in 1998. Since that time, he has proudly carried on the family tradition.

Best Decision Ever!!
We had heard about Steve O'Brien and decided after getting quotes from some kitchen cabinet manufacturers in Ottawa, to have him make our cabinets. Best decision ever! We didn't realize at the time he did such a great custom work and at a very competitive rate. The extra work and attention to detail regarding trim, full extensions drawers, baseboard and overall quality of work was amazing. Steve suggested some great modifications which added workspace to our kitchen. We highly recommend Burchell O'Brien Custom Kitchens.

We Love Our New Kitchen!
We love our new kitchen! From concept to the last detail working with Burchell O'Brien Custom Cabinets has bee a pleasure. We needed and really appreciated the flexibility of working with Steve because our renovation was extensive. We made our small kitchen and dining room into a large kitchen, so a lot of planning was required. Burchell O'Brien also made it so easy to find and personally select our granite counter tops and then coordinated their installation. Steve and his crew were patient, professional and courteous.
